A troubled employee has an impact on others at the workplace, including their supervisors and union reps. We develop and implement proactive workshops to address the impact of trends in a changing organization.
We provide training to union leaders and management on early intervention of a troubled employee. We are available 24/7 for any consultation, including crisis in the workplace
Training on “Reaching Out” to the Troubled Employee.
This is a three-hour workshop that trains management, and union shop stewards on EAP referral pathways and chemical dependency.
From our experience this is the most important component of EAP as it ensures early intervention and the cooperation of union and management on making appropriate referrals.
The EAP counsellors are available to consult with management, union representatives, and employees regarding problems in the workplace. Meeting the cousellors at the Orientation and other training sessions puts a face to the EAP and generally results in more proactive consultations.
